AMERICAN AVOCET, STROLLING
This is a photograph I took of this American Avocet couple right after mating had occurred. They look very elegant as they walk together in a stroll which makes them look very sophisticated with their long necks. Fun Note: They place their nests directly on the ground, and to keep the eggs cool, they dip their belly feathers in water.
