EARED GREBES, LOVE
Eared Grebes will appear to stand in the water during part of their mating ritual, and I feel very lucky if I can photograph them running across the water together. This action is often termed a “Dance,” and is difficult to capture given the distance between the shore and the birds. They breed in colonies in shallow wetlands. Fun Note: On cold, sunny mornings, the Eared Grebes sunbathes by facing away from the sun and raising its rump, exposing its dark underlying skin to light.
10 X 15.5 (Horizontal Format) Archival Pigment Print on Pearl Paper - FRAMED
