LIGHT PEEKING THROUGH
White Ibis, Homestead Bayfront, Florida. A White Ibis was a new bird species for me, and I couldn’t get over how prolific they were in the Everglades. I saw them everywhere as we were driving the various roads through the area. If I were driving, I might have stopped at least 100 times, so it was a good thing I was a passenger. We stopped at a Bay to see if there were any birds, and of course there were white Ibis. I was excited, as a pair of them came close to where we were eating. However, it did make me ponder how many people feed this particular pair. They wandered off next to some trees and the bokeh light and darkness in the foliage created a nice natural background.
